So… What is Polymer Clay?
what is polymer clay?
Simply its just like Modeling clay that children play with but it can be hardened when heated, keeping the form and colors of the final form you made..
in fact polymer clay is not clay at all it is fine particles of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) suspended in plasticizer that can be modulated just like clay
you can get it in very numerous colors, you may blend colors to form new ones..you can also work two or more colors together without blending them all up to you
polymer clay doesn’t dry in air like clay , so you can sculpt and form it without worrying about a time limit.
there are many uses it… Jewelry stones are the most common and seen.. but ther are decorative objects and statues, dolls and many other uses..

Creative Ways On How To Sell Your Arts and Crafts

If you’re the creative type, you may want to try making extra cash in the art and crafts field. This hobby can quickly turn into a very profitable business.
With today’s technology, you’re able to reach a wider audience to sell your arts and crafts. Believe it or not, there are people still out there willing to buy handmade crafty items.
You just have to be creative in finding where these people are and placing your craft items in front of them.
So, what crafty item should you make and sell?
Well, that depends on your creative passions. The crafting field is vast and there is always something for everyone.
Some suggestions are:
crocheting,
knitting,
polymer clay,
sewing,
handmade toys,
handmade home decoration,………….the list can go on and on.
Think about what craft items people might want to buy:
How would your craft item benefit the buyer?
Can your craft item be of use as decoration?
Is it a functional craft item?
What purpose does it have for the potential buyer?
These are the questions you should ask yourself when coming up with ideas on what craft item you want to make and/or currently making.
Now that you have decided on what craft item
you want to make, how do you know if there is a market for it?….. You don’t, unless you do some research.
Browse some of the online auction sites that are out there on the web.
Type in your craft item into the search field and take note of how many bids are placed or how many items are listed.
This is not a sure fire method but will give you a sense of who else is making something similar to your craft item.
Another way to find out if there is a market for your craft item is to search for possible stores or internet stores that may be selling what you want to make. Research, research is the key.

The quick and simple way is to create the tutorial in word doc and then convert it to PDF file.

It was out of my hands..
Hello everybody,
I was crying happy to find all those comment notifications on my email and was screaming that I couldn’t manage them and reply your kind comments.. It was completely out of my hands…
I was moving to another place(in another government), got sick, lost my computer which was containing most of my work, then that stupid problem about blocking my site by my internet provider.. I am now in a humble internet cafe around me when I finally could access my blog… I’m happy to be back and ashamed to be away for a …LONG while.. but you have my promises to improve the blog and get new ideas.. waiting for more suggestions and support…
Happy Day
Fast Tricks about glittery crafts
- Store your glitter in a wide plastic box with a cover and apply it with a plastic spoon.. this will decrease mess by glitter every where..
- Before storing your glitter wipe the container and the spoon with a dry piece of wool or wool yarn ,this absorbs the static charge and prevent more glitter waste by sticking in the container..
- Also wipe the craft project you are going to glitter before applying adhesives .. this will limit glitter to the glued areas only …
Thanks
Make it yourself wiggle eyes for your craft projects
what if you ran out of these wiggle eyes and need more for a couple of projects..
I made some just in no time..
ALL you need :
a medication tablet strip which is clear and rounded (keep medications away from children)
a flatened black bead
small piece of white card paper
white glue that dries clear
and scissors
Method:
use an empty tablet slot from the strip and clean it from medication residues by a dry cotton bud..
cut a little bit wider than the slot and glue the edges
drop the bead in the middle and don’t let it touch the glue
apply the small paper card over the slot and let it dry..
then cut just around the slot to make the wiggle eye..
Hints:
- use a flattend rounded bead suitable for the slot size.. not too large and not too small..
- the reason we drop the bead in the center is not to touch the glue..
- do not hurry and turn your wiggle eye before it is completely dry .. if the bead was stuck in the glue ,it wont be wiggle..
and also don’t try to cut the paper before applying it over the wiggle and let dry.. if it moves it will take the glue to the center of the eye and the bead will stick back..
enjoy..
